Families with adopted children aged eighteen or under often face the risk of separation, placing their whole family in a state of distress. In these cases, the child typically exhibits intensely disruptive behaviors and may have already been diagnosed and tried various mental health treatments without success. As such, it becomes increasingly difficult for families to cope with this situation. That's where we come in.

The families AAP monies remain intact. There is an additional AAP amount that is used to pay for services.

You aren't obligated to get referred by your social worker; you can refer yourself directly. If the home and child meet the essential requirements, they are certified candidates to work with Haven. Our Intake Team at Haven will assist you and guide you through the process. Please reach out and allow us to walk you through the process.

Absolutely. Family voice and Choice are the cornerstones of our program and part of the Ten Wraparound Principles. Our approach is highly personalized. Once we assess your family’s specific circumstances, we craft a detailed plan that addresses the particular challenges and needs of your family, ensuring the most effective interventions are utilized.

Expressions of Hope is a community partner that we have worked closely with in order to provide additional support to our families. They specialize in support and resources for foster, kinship, and at-risk families in Napa County. We work alongside Expressions of Hope to provide trauma informed trainings to their foster and adoptive families.
